DOWN BELOW IS WHERE YOU'LL SEE THE AUGUST COMMERCIAL THAT I WAS IN CHARGE OF MAKING for MY main INTERNSHIP PROJECT. I WAS ABLE TO PLAN, SCRIPT WRITE, GO THROUGH THE DECISION PROCESS, EDIT SCRIPTS, PLAN THE LOCATION FOR THE FILMING, RECORD THE SHOTS, DIRECT THE ACTORS, TRIM THE VIDEO FOOTAGE, EDIT THE FOOTAGE, AND INCLUDE THE PROMOTION OF THE FREE A/C.

AN ADVANCED VERSION OF THE PETERMAN BROTHERS AUGUST COMMERCIAL THAT ADDS MORE OF MY PERSONAL TASTE AND CREATIVITY. THIS SHOWS OFF THE MORE COMPLICATED SKILLS AND EDITS THAT I LEARNED THROUGHOUT THE INTERNSHIP.

DOWN BELOW INCLUDES THE SCRIPT AND THEME THAT WE DECIDED TO GO WITH. THAT SCRIPT WAS THEN SHORTENED AND EDITED TO MEET THE 15 AND 30 SECOND COMMERCIAL TIME CONSTRAINTS. ADDITIONALLY, IT WAS ALTERED FOR RADIO AS WELL.

EVENT BOOTH HOW-TO VIDEO. FOR THIS VIDEO, I WAS ABLE TO DIRECT, RECORD, FILM, TRIM DOWN ROUGHLY 40 MINUTES OF VIDEO, AND EDIT TO CREATE A CONCISE VIDEO. THE VIDEO WAS SHARED TO THE REST OF THE PETERMAN BROTHERS EMPLOYEES TO SHOW HOW TO PROPERLY RUN AN EVENT BOOTH.

THIS TOOK PLACE DURING THE SPARK FISHERS PARADE WITH INDIANA WISH. I WAS ABLE TO SET UP THE EQUIPMENT FOR THE INTERVIEW, ASK QUESTIONS FOR THE INTERVIEW, AND BE A PART OF THE PARADE BY CAPTURING ACTION SHOTS BEFORE AND DURING THE PARADE. IT EVENTUALLY LEAD TO THIS VIDEO BEING ABLE TO BE PUT TOGETHER AND POSTED ACROSS SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS. INDIANA WISH WAS THE PETERMAN BROTHERS CHARITY SPOTLIGHT WINNERS WHICH TOOK PLACE EARLIER IN THE YEAR.

this was a mock red bird commercial that was made by myself. I used existing b-roll footage to assist with the flow of the commercial. one big thing that I did with this video was edit the bird flying off screen and then behind them at the end.

this was the second video that I did during my internship. I conducted a fake interview with my mentor Jarryd by asking him questions and directing him through the process. I also was exposed to the green screen and changed the background, added the computer shot by editing the screen, and told a story using the b-roll footage. this all began with a 14 minute recording of straight answers and me asking questions.

this was the July monthly recap video. these videos are recorded each month to update the employees. simple editing was done to cut out any major hiccups and used the zoom-in trick.

WORKED VARIOUS EVENTS SUCH AS GREENFIELD PRIDE, INDY PRIDE PARADE, peterman cares video shoots, WESTFIELD TOUCH-A-TRUCK, SPARK FISHERS PARADE WITH INDIANA WISH, LAWRENCE COUNTY FAIR, JOHNSON COUNTY FAIR, JACKSON COUNTY FAIR, AND THE INDIANA STATE FAIR. Additionally, I was able to sit in on chad peterman's "can't stop the growth" podcasts to make sure of smooth operation. lastly, I was able to schedule 6 appointments which will be able to generate thousands of dollars for the company.
